Use Case: CRM for Hosting Customer Management
In the use case we describe, the app is used to market hosting services and web domains. The app has a profile for the administrator to upload clients and their contact information, registration and expiration date, price, service period, etc.
The app then starts keeping track of the periods that are passing, for example if a monthly due date is set, every 30 days the app will add a new amount according to the established price to the client’s account, and also sends notifications to the administrator, so that he is aware that the period has expired.
The administrator can then prepare a notification with a click and send it to the client with the description, payment link, due date, etc. to manage the collection. It is also possible to establish that notifications are sent automatically to clients when due, although in this case you have to be careful because by automating the process further you lose control of the results of the management. This last modality is the most common in hosting client management systems such as the most popular and used WHMCS.
Then, when the customer pays, the amount of payment made by the customer is entered and the app recalculates the customer’s balance. Automatic notifications (by email, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) can also be sent in this case as a receipt of payment, with the next due date and other relevant data.
